    ... 160; Part of what used to be the church is now a modern bar/restaurant!  I found it very interesting to have a bar in an old church, but it seems to be the norm here.  I then walk a couple more block through Fallowfield, which is the area I live in.  Fallowfield is made up of nearly all students, so it is rare to see anybody over 25 in my neighborhood!  After walking through Fallowfield I also pass Platt Fields Park.  This is a very large park, ...

    ... family on Monday morning in the beautiful town of Sucre. They'll be providing me with a room, a bed, breakfast, lunch and most likely a shed-load of completely bamboozling, non-English conversation! The rest of the trip I'll keep secret for now...     ... who were arguing over 3 large tubs of double base for his mother, it was Nat's turn first. After a very puzzled man and a thorough search, Nat disclosed she had bar of L'occitane soap that was not in her clear plastic bag!! Next was Bex turn, the puzzled man looked at his computer, looked at Bex and returned the bag no questions asked.     ... an alternative for those who wished to remain seated and explained that a trolley serving a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and sweets would be travelling through the train during the journey, what more could I ask for? In the event, I just ate my soggy subway and watched as the land became steadily flatter and the sun on my right became steadily stronger. After just 2 hours 14 minutes we arrived in London and it was a beautiful April afternoon.
