... they let the 'upper class' passengers disembark fist and considering a number of them were elderly, this took forever!!!!

Collected my case and changed from shorts into long trousers, mainly because it was effing freezing and out into the world again.

Had a lovely surprise waiting for me, which I nearly missed. Yep it was a happy Pauline who met a delighted me.....

... the garden area for photos. The reception area was on the property, beautifully decorated with purple (Kyla's colours) & orange (Tom's colours) very bright and cheerful. Excellent food, plenty of wine, David managed to find a wine he liked , Moscato, after the speeches, came lots of music and dancing. It was very nice for David to dance with his daughter, the beautiful bride.

Walked down to the Embankment station to head for home. Back home to our nice warm studio, a bit tired, I think we walked a fair distance, thank goodness for my not very pretty walking boots at least they work better than the Harrods ones.

We slept in!!! Ed eventually woke up at about 10.00! First stop of the day was to the supermarket and, as at home, the supermarket was packed. Finding a trolley was a problem. We managed to get what we thought was what we needed and headed back to Royal Court. ... that it would brighten up in the South East and sure enough by the time we got to the Cagney and Lacey country house, near Dorking in Surrey, the sun was out and it was a very pleasant afternoon.
