Our night in a castle

... rooms, learning about the owners, the parties (the perfect party house, even frequently visited by JFK) and the refurbishments. Interestingly the castle was saved and owned by a number of women over the last few centuries.

Later on there was another gingerbread model, this time like a massive doll house with a lot of the different rooms of the castle replicated in gingerbread and icing! Yum....

Walked down to the Embankment station to head for home. Back home to our nice warm studio, a bit tired, I think we walked a fair distance, thank goodness for my not very pretty walking boots at least they work better than the Harrods ones.

We slept in!!! Ed eventually woke up at about 10.00! First stop of the day was to the supermarket and, as at home, the supermarket was packed. Finding a trolley was a problem. We managed to get what we thought was what we needed and headed back to Royal Court.
