So it was back in the chariot and meander back towards Maidstone, via some gorgeous leafy tunnels on single track roads whilst trying to find a good vantage point to see Leeds castle.
After a late appointment in Maidstone, we headed home.
Friday rush hour added to a broken down lorry doubled our journey time, but we had scooped more sights, sounds and experiences to mull over and savour in the weeks and months to come.

The first sight one sees are the enormous sheds, where ships were built from the Tudor era, way back in 1547. Ships were built here for Queen Elizabeth 1 to fight the hairy Spanish in the Armada and were still being built for the royal navy over 400 years later in the form of destroyers and submarines, before the dockyard was finally closed in 1984.

Had an early shift today so I had to use the Night Buses to get me to Greenwich Park. An entertaining experience in itself. Not difficult to navigate and at no time did I feel unsafe, but I did have a giggle. I boarded the bus at 4.15 am. - Set of new Metzeler Tourances to take with me as the existing set will not last the whole trip.(planning to change them in Sweden)
