Fun trip to Murrayfield for Scotland v Fiji.....lots of happy Scottish faces after the win, boys in fancydress, stag parties galore, chuc-chucs ferrying folks home in the rain, great cocktails in an Italian Jazz bar and running to catch last train back home on a busy busy Saturday night train heading South.
Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom helen-marie... if you are trained in the area of expertise, you communicate to each other what that space represents personally.

As we traveled through the city we noticed the astounding architecture that had been built. Most of it was very modern, comtemporary work because of the war destruction in the Glasgow area. We took a look at the famous art school and imagined for a second what it would be like to work in their studios.
Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom samjake... his own age?"; "is he some kind of weirdo?" Goodness knows they are questions I would have asked myself if the roles were reversed. If I say that it didn't matter to me what they thought I would be speaking the truth but perhaps not in the way that it might sound. Of course I wanted them to like me, to accept me, to accept our relationship. I wanted them to see the love we share for each other, to understand it and experience that it ...

I loved seeing men walk around in them. A couple of our 'Bama guys who took a different train back were determined to buy houndstooth kilts with crimson jackets! Maybe they could also buy the swords and refer to themselves as "Saban's Sabres" ... I guess we'll see come fall! That's it...sorry for the rambling!
Edinburgh, United Kingdom cami_w... s and then go over to Holland where Cass will be living with some family. Spend a week or so there touring around and then the two of us will go off traveling for a few weeks. Who knows where or for how long, but that's the basics of it anyway. Really looking forward to that. And....I am hoping hoping hoping to take one more small trip next month, but I am not getting my hopes up and have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I won't get the days off because my ...
Edinburgh, United Kingdom steph_444... back to Oz. Beer, and a good bar. Said goodbye to him, and then back to St. Andrews for a drink with another guy who was leaving the next morning back to the States. Just last week I said goodbye to a Canadian guy as he was going back to get ready for school. Ah, I hate saying goodbyes. Three in one week. People I've known since I came to St. Andrews. They were good guys and I'll miss em. Now there's really no one left in town that I've known while I've ...
Edinburgh, United Kingdom steph_444Well my China trip has been cancelled again :-(. I've decided not to rebook it as I'm not sure when they'll be up and running again and I could be waiting for months! I've decided to spend a couple of days in Beijing and then fly to Hong Kong. Hopefully in about 6 weeks time Hong Kong will have had the SARS travel restrictions lifted. From Hong Kong I'm not sure whether to head to Oz or go to SE Asia first. I'll probably make that decision nearer the time.
