Well after nine wonderful days on Mandrem beach with The Sea Paradise boys, we are fully rested. There really wasn't much to report back unless you wanted to hear about jumping on the motorbike and popping in and out of local villages and spending lazy days on the beach?!
The journey home was quite exhausting and looking back over the past 36 hours or so, I wonder whether holidays are worth it? They obviously are due to visiting lots of very different places and nmaking so many new ...
... the gorge up the gorge” debacle followed by kilometres of what, bog? on top of a mountain?!! where the hell were we?!! Also, damn the reservoir where, having run out of water, Ryan requested that I wade in and try and get some water for boiling. Cold! Muddy! Undrinkable! Squidgy!
Crowden, England, United Kingdom ryanandnatashaWell the day has finally arrived! The alarm was set for 6.00am but we were both awake before it went off. After a quick breakfast we were on the bike heading for a rendevous at Colin's house in Halling in the rain!
After a quick cup of tea, Leigh up turned on his Triumph Tiger and it was time to set off for the Marsden to meet Lyndsey & David & guess what it ...
Last brief entry, just to say we are safely back home, arriving yesterday with Sue picking us up at Manchester airport.
We've had a fantastic trip - very memorable! Thank you for following our trip. Hope it hasn't been boring, certainly hasn't for us.
... the CHANGE. I don't particularly like change, but I like to take myself out of my comfort zone sometimes and see what I can handle. Keep challenging myself.
Keeping this short, otherwise it will get VERY boring. More time for fun stories and escapades then! xox
Autumnal fresh day out on the moor, over-looking satellite centre across the Dales, very surreal! Lots of autmn heathers out amongst the multi-coloured leaves wilting off the trees. Pleasant stream, building dams, children's laughter, dogs being walked, lovers hand-in-hand.

WOW what a week! No sooner had we unpacked our bags and repacked our belongings into storage we were packing again to start our adventure! We had only a very short time to catch up with family before we were saying our goodbyes again. Although we never thought we'd be ready our bags are finally packed and were on the train down to London Kings Cross. We are very tired so hope to get some sleep on the overnight flight to Nairobi.

I was also getting to see people in their home environment, and it's remarkable how different you are when you're in your hometown working and when you're in a hostel halfway around the world doing whatever you damn well please. My general feeling was, at some point in my life I'd be back in Europe. Places I'd miss I could go back to ...
Rochdale, England, United Kingdom danblank... Hard Rock Cafe to complement her earlier purchases in Cardiff and Edinburgh, but we became frustrated with the pre-Christmas lunch-time rush in the city centre, the heavy traffic, the complicated one way street system and a succession of completely full multi-storey car parks.
With the dicey conditions making for a slippery drive down the M1, I left Ali not far outside Nottingham, where she was to spend Christmas with her ...
