    We are now moored up in Hemingford Grey where we used to live, ready for the Regatta later today. It is the oldest village regatta in the country and only residents of Hemingford Grey and Hemingford Abbots can take part in the rowing, canoeing or punt races. There are 170 - 180 races planned for all ages from 7 to 70, so it should be a great day, especially as the weather is playing it's part as well.

    ... It's never boring on the boat and plans don't always work out, especially it seems with electrified guillotine locks on the River Great Ouse. They are notorious for breaking down and we seem to be in the wrong place and the right time.
