    A very good nights sleep once more. This morning our breakfast was continental, English continental I think! Very good even though Chris didn't get the croissant he was looking forward to. There was a lovely old spinning wheel on display in the window of the dining room and an old fine tapestry on the wall. There were also silk poinsettias and lights left over from Christmas! Quite a mix!

    Okay so it's currently Friday and I'm flying to New York on Sunday. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a smidge nervous but I'm way more excited. Ever since I've been able to walk basically, I have wanted to travel and I have been lucky enough to go to some amazing places over the years but never for this long, especially on my own.     We finally got onto the road to Horsham about 11am which was a bit later than we had planned. The route that the SatNav was going to take us too far North so we had to use the road atlas to made a few deviations. Along the way we had an unexpected bonus. The route was going to take us directly past Stonehenge. We could see the signs for the turn off but couldn't ...
