... we headed to the Barbara Hepworth sculpture garden. This was impressive to see and the sculptures were cleverly displayed in and amongst the flowers and trees. Rose enjoyed exploring in the garden and was particularly fascinated by Barbara Hepworth's old studio. We then headed back into the town but it had become very busy with tourists, so we decided to head back to the train to continue our day elsewhere. The Lizard was ...

    Day Three: Truro

Dinner with the Hawkins as the wind came up and the skies darkened. Some rain but stopped quickly. Clive drove us home as the train times did not work for us. We searched ...

... and we got fresh towels. Bed about 11pm.
One thing to note is the presence of dogs everywhere. They are allowed most places including hotel rooms, all attractions and restaurants and pubs. Jill is in dog heaven. There are always people around walking dogs!! They are usually on leads and are very well behaved.
Also, I saw two signs near roadworks saying 'Cats eyes removed'. Some foreign visitors must wonder why anyone would want their cats eyes ...
