We had a great night socialising with the locals (Pam and Sue who taught us how to play Bingo!) and managed to win a couple of prizes. Just an observation here there are dogs welcome in pubs, on buses and trains and also in restaurants and tonight on a TV political show Molly the dog is on and has her own basket on the ...

Wow! What a day! Cloudy and rainy as we headed off. Stopped for fuel and and Greg asked the lady at the service station 'Will we get some sunshine today?' She replied 'No we had summer last Wednesday!' Thankfully the day cleared as we headed to Land's End the most western part of mainland UK. We hadn't realised we needed to bring machetes to cut the grass to enable us to get to the old and weathering headstones. It was slow going, as the ground was uneven and overgrown. I think the parish council had stopped tending the older graves a long time ago. At least the newer ones ...

... think I came smack bang in the middle so I was basically mediocre. :)

I also had my turn at archery as I used to be exceptional at archery- I was the bull's eye queen. This time I couldn't even hit the target. 20 years later in life I seem to be dreadful! It was rather horrifying but the surfing and tightrope walking makes up for it.

Ironically I would say the tightrope walking on the beach was the highlight of my trip!
