... and picked us up at the same time, dropping us off at our hostel because 'y'all shouldn't have to take a cab when I'm right here with a car', to the kind lady in Melaka, Malaysia who picked us up by the roadside and drove us to the bus station, because the weather was hot. People have made this trip for us. On a difficult day, reading a kind comment left by a reader has boosted our spirits immeasurably.

I was a bit terrified at first (having been bitten by more than my fair share of rodents due to having more than my fair share of pet rodents), but even Meri got in on the act. The squirrels came out of every nearby tree and then the pigeons got in on the act. One promptly landed on my head (which was thankfully hooded due to the rain).

We were off to the tour of the Harry Porter Films at the Warner Bros Studios. It is located 1.5 hours outside of London. So this was our adventure for the day. Weather again today was great, not to hot these days like it has been here this summer now daily temp is 22-26c So if you are a Harry Porter Fan you will like this entry today and pictures, we have only loaded a handful compared to how many we really took, to see all the Harry ...
... including a video of some the official photos being taken, with the young Charles and Anne being kids and playing up a little. A touch or a word from their parents settled them down quickly, but it was very sweet to see them just being normal children.
We saw a hidden entrance that the Queen sometimes uses, behind a huge mirror and bureau - the items on the bureau are permanently fastened so they don't accidentally slide off when the door is opened!
We finally came ...
I had a massive to do list still. Packing and writing 8 months of birthday cards got done (24!), many other things didn't:- mowing lawn, popping into work to say hello, fleaing cats.... But did dilapidate! Some house things I will just have to leave for Helen and Dave - sorry I did not get more done. My 'light' packing: recommend: 10kg, but must be less than 15kg - didn't quite go to plan - 14.2kg - but it's cold at night (2C) in Perth ...
