trip, and we had a great time, although I think we were a bit unlucky to catch a spell of not such good weather. We have learnt a lot, like the areas which we like best and which places are likely to get consistently dry warm weather. We tried lots of different campsites and now have an idea which sort best suit our needs.
We enjoyed our month away and will probably do it again next year, bur most likely for a bit longer...... !

Check in went smoothly with Glenna ushered to her own private check in (followed by me as bag carrier) and we were immediately offered a wheelchair although there would be some time lapse before it arrived. The day started very
early with the long and dull ride to Folkstone to join the Chunnel
train to Calais. Two hours or so later, we arrived at the 'port' and
got caught in our first downpour of the holiday while we sat queuing
to board the train. Legs soaked to the skin at least, the first
three queues of cars moved forward, only for us to hear over the
tannoy that the train was full and we would be prioritised on to the
... over. Once the battery had been run down we played on the grassed area for a little while, and then headed home. We booked to go to dinner at the local Indian restaurant. Had a really nice meal there. I really enjoyed it, despite not usually eating much Indian food. Came home completely stuffed... Shower, blog catch up, and then going to have to head to bed I ...
As it looked like it was going to be another sunny, nice day we decided to get Stonehenge in, just in case the weather changes later in the week. Drove out there passing through a town which has a church with the highest spier in England. Got there, and it looked like. Weren't the only ones with the idea to make the most of the weather (that of it is always that busy). Joined the queue to get tickets, then joined the queue for the land train which takes you up ...
