    Today we went to the Metrocentre which is the biggest shopping centre in all of Europe. After that we went to the Scotland vs Samoa game with my Scottish cousin Nick, and Leaine and Frank came too and I was supporting Scotland and they won 36 to 33.

    Today we drove to Newcastle and went to see Hadrian's wall at Wallsend because that was where the wall started. It was the site of a Roman fort called Segendunum and I got a Roman coin with Hadrian on it.

    ... Bay - about 15km out of the city centre. We had a 3 bed room with an awesome sea view. A bit different to the places we were used to! We dropped our stuff off, got some fish and chips, smashed a couple of Carlsberg's and caught the train in to town to join the party. There were all blacks fans everywhere in town.     Off we go, shorter day, weather is good but still soggy under foot, thought we needed to build a raft, decided on a 500 metre detour, raining again, we did not need that !! , health is also good, 16 miles covered, that's now 76 in total and on schedule, my advice especially with this section, Danby Wiske to Richmond is you need a very good map reader as it is not sign posted well.
