      Woke up this morning from a really good sleep. The rain has come! Knew that beaut weather wouldn't last long! Breakfast was amazing, walked into the dining room to a table full of fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, pastries and then she gave me a full menu to choose from. Of course I ordered the English breakfast which was delicious! Couldn't go past having an almond and custard pastry too though. This hotel ...

      Woke up this morning to a rather rocky ship, winds rain and rough seas, went up on deck for breakfast and looking out to see could see some blue sky on the horizon so hope it will brighten up later. Just had a report from the bridge that the winds are gusting force nine and some of the outside decks have been closed. Must say it is a little rocky.       ... it came up for sale in the 1930s by the Wilmot family, and started to build houses on it. The shopping area on Nottingham Road was developed around the same time as was Chaddesden Park Hotel.
