    ... checked out a few shops too. It looks like it's quite an arty alternative town as well as having the old traditionals here too. Locals are friendly and have heaps of dogs. They take it all for granted as one does when one grows up in a place.

    But check out the photos. I have rarely repeated shots of an arch so these will be almost all different ones, of various shapes and sizes. As well as a few other things I saw on my excursion.

    Can't be time to pack again . . . right???

    ... can spend some time both of her sons.
    We all piled in the Focus for a ride up towards Leeds and dinner at the Hawthorne Farm, which does a carvery that has been recommended to us. We had a nice dinner, then back to the house for a while before we said goodbyes to Brian and Mo.
    Seems like we just got here. On the other hand, seems ages since we got here!

    Set off from home just before 2.30pm. Had a good ride over on the motorway as you do. Got within 48miles of Manchester City and we had to drop down to 50mph then 40mph because of queueing. So had a steady run then it picked up again, then we came upon more queues. Then incident ahead which appeared to be roadworks. We were pleasEd to get off the M62 onto the M60. Geoff had already checked where we needed to be on Google ...

    ... and had dinner with Dave at 5pm, which is really strange for us to eat so early because we aren't used to it but Dave eats early because he starts work at 6pm.
