    ... at the charing cross hotel in London, so we left slough on Thursday and took two trains to stay in a shell of a hotel at kings cross. I say shell of a hotel because that is exactly what it was, the name was tune hotel and it is really cheap, however the catch is, they charge you for everything.     ... decided enough was enough and booted the ball out of the court and off the ship. Game over. Some kid will get a nice surprise when the ball washes up on the shore in Holland.All that was left to do now was start to pack our things. We attended the 'Farewell Show' which featured a devestatingly unfunny comedian. We enjoyed a last meal, and said our goodbyes to our dining friends as our cruise came to an end.

    What a long day!!!! Our brekky down in the restaurant was included in the tariff which was nice, and when we awoke we could see the QE arriving at her berth. They were the only 2 good things about our room, oh, and that we had a 12 noon checkout.

    We just packed and waited and waited and waited....... After we checked out we sat in the lobby for 30 minutes or so, and then ordered a taxi. The taxi driver was really pleased ...
