Bryn has a full stomach, and went swimming. This was a great day! We did not travel much today, but we did visit the ex-pats grocery store, and found Bryn some chocolate soy milk, lactose-free milk, Oreos, soy yogurt and vitamins. Quite a successful shopping experience. We also just had Thai food for dinner, which meant tofu for Bryn. Bryn also …

This is going to be a LONG one..... hahaha... so i woke up this morning and went down to the breakfast at my hotel, Premier Inn, and then came back up to my room and took a nap to obliterate the jet-lag. Couldnt sleep so me and dad left early for a pharmacy cause he has a cold, and went to some mall... It doesnt open till 10:00!!!!!! Ya so we …
... to the ground level the story turned a little sour. We were all tired and lost...a bad combination. In search of an exit with a taxi rank, I think we retraced all 550, 000 square metres many times over on a wild goose chase. We eventually found the 100 metre queue at our exit destination. Somehow at 10:45 at nighttime shops had lost their appeal.
After a long first day we decided to give the gym a miss in the morning.
Stay tuned for a new map...a new adventure ...
How has this hotel rated in the past?
Not close to anything, so plan to spend money on a taxi to get here if you land at night-- almost 48 km from the airport at night
There is a metro during the day that takes you all over, and then a public bus that drops off/picks up right outside the hotel, so a really good place if you're willing to do public transit
Free shuttle to a few shopping areas and beach
LOVELY staff- very friendly and beautiful English
Beautiful rooms, rooftop pool
Has a restaurant , cafe, room service-- not that expensive, and food right in the hotel
There is a ex-pats "colony" just about 1 mile away with a FULLY STOCKED grocery store. I am a vegetarian and lactose-intolerant--- they had soy yogurt, soy milk, etc, and I was thrilled! Also, a great Thai restaurant with tofu in the same shopping plaza.
