We spent a couple of days checking out the Berkshire landscape - thanks to an invite from our good friends Mike and Cushla Carroll who currently provide property maintenance services to a wealthy family who live near the little village of Brimpton. Apparently, it's fairly common for the landed gentry set to have NZ couples to look after them and their estates.

And here it is...my 5 days of winter before I continue my 16months of summer. I worked it out that from June 2010 until about October 2011 I will have enjoyed about 16months of summer weather!
