Having been in Ireland a week and watched a bit of channel RTE on TV I think I am entitled to google for the Irish version of Dublin, then copy and paste the result here. After the obligatory photos outside we jumped back in the car and headed for Killarney in Kerry. Killarney was our starting point for driving the famous Ring of Kerry a 180km circular route through the beautiful county of Kerry. The tour ended and we heade over to Irelands oldest pub.... the Brazen Head.... for lunch. We had delicious panini sandwhiches and went back to the hostel. That night we went to Temple Bar for an over priced drink and then to Fitzgeralds for a cheaper brew. Mmm.
After a horrible sleep, due to a crazy bunk mate digging ...
... but I was so thankful to finally arrive that I didn't mind at all. Check in was a breeze (thank you SO much to Eric for booking my hostels while I was on my Philadelphia layover!!!), and I immediately went up for a shower. I found that I had in fact NOT packed my adapter, so I dressed for a walk to the city center to find something to eat and an adapter.

Arriving in Ireland, we managed to make our way through customs without a single casualty, and caught a double-decker bus to our hotel.
