Today we headed out with Mary, Adrian, Miranda and Jude to Malibu Creek State Park. We hiked out to the site where MASH was filmed. It was a lovely hike - about 4.5 miles long but fairly flat. There isn't much out there but you can see some of the landscape and there are a couple of old ambulances and a jeep. Today was a huge achievement. We headed to Santa Monica and straight for the pier. Whats so special about here though? It's the end of the trail and so concludes our trip across America via Route 66. It actually felt a bit emotional as well.
