      After visiting the shrine I made my way back across the Dee and along the riverfront to Grosvenor Park, which is laid out in the Victorian style, and is quite pleasant to walk around.       ... jaguars, a trio of cheetahs and a rather large lion or two.

      One downside to going in winter is that a lot of the cafes and such are closed, but I was able to get a drink and a muffin at the restaurant, which was a nice break from walking around.

      ... but we had to wait about an hour before a mechanic could get it working again. We managed to generate a seriously long traffic queue before all the waiting boats had been let through. I expect the drivers were cursing us boaters!
