Set off from home just before 2.30pm. Had a good ride over on the motorway as you do. Got within 48miles of Manchester City and we had to drop down to 50mph then 40mph because of queueing. ... Oulton Park is near Warrington, just south of Liverpool. Our friend Chris Pearson was returning from the Isle of Man Classic and was arriving at Liverpool so he decided to join us. The track was about 25km from our hotel so we arranged to meet Chris at the track when he arrived. By 12:30 the Warren Trio (see previous blog) was reunited and watching qualifying for British Superbikes.

The journey is all fine and we arrive home on time.
We are greeted in Manchester by grey skies, a torrential downpour and a thoroughly miserable taxi driver who neither wants to take us to Hale or help with the luggage (he thinks there is too much and he is probably right).
