      Off to Manchester after supper to be next to the airport for the early morning flight! Need to check in at 6.40 am (sigh)... But very excited to get on the way! Hoping for an upgrade due to it being my birthday (10th feb), however, will be very surprised if i get one! Fingers crossed. Etihad flight to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi ...

      ... destination (remember, we were tired and had just spent the night sleeping in a slightly reclined position, hadn't brushed our teeth in nearly a day, and had wild, unruly, and slightly oily hair. So yeah, let's go be tourists!) was only five miles away. Dunham Massey, a couple of hundred year old house that was used during WWI as an auxiliary hospital (kinda like the first season of Downton Abbey).       ... a bathroom. We met June Hollywood, the housekeeper at the Lennox Lea who took care of us throughout our stay and cooked our delicious breakfasts each morning.

      Auntie Margaret had made up a "care package' for us which included special edition HP Sauce Crisps as well as Marks & Spencer Summer Special Fish and Chips flavoured crisps. It also included a bottle of Vimto, some Digestive biscuits, and Orange Club ...

      Headed up to Manchester with my best friend Charlotte (we drove up), stayed in possible the most expensive and classiest hotel in Manchester (of course.... Because One Direction were also staying there). Got drunk in the hotel, saw the boys... Left the next day and drove back to London. Also paid £40 for a breakfast in the hotel.... TWO ...
