Off to Manchester after supper to be next to the airport for the early morning flight! Need to check in at 6.40 am (sigh)... But very excited to get on the way! Hoping for an upgrade due to it being my birthday (10th feb), however, will be very surprised if i get one! Fingers crossed. Etihad flight to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi ...
Headed up to Manchester with my best friend Charlotte (we drove up), stayed in possible the most expensive and classiest hotel in Manchester (of course.... Because One Direction were also staying there). Got drunk in the hotel, saw the boys... Left the next day and drove back to London. Also paid £40 for a breakfast in the hotel.... TWO ...
... into Manchester in the afternoon. We enjoyed a couple of drinks then dinner with Haddy. The following day Liz caught up with Laarni, a friend from high school who has recently moved here, while Dan caught the train to Liverpool to do the Anfield tour. Liverpool was bustling, the sun was out and so was a whole heap of Liverpudlians. Went past the (recreation of the) Cavern Club to see where the Beatles started ...
The rest of today was spent relaxing and catching up on photos and blogs. I uploaded all my photos so check them out on facebook.
Off to Estonia tomorrow so will again try and keep you all updated on a day by day basis but there is no guarantee all depends on time and interent access, I will do my best though.

12 miles - Dunham Town
We had a slow start today. We woke to really heavy rain and the showers continued on and off all morning and the early part of the afternoon. We thought we would give it till 10am for the rain to stop then set off regardless. Then I remembered I had a parcel to post. The nearest post office was in Worsley, just a mile or so further along the canal so we stopped there, found the footpath to the shops and I set off with my parcel. ...
