    ... on South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. - not the most original trip but perfect for what we want. Cheap bit of fun to help stick to a tight budget. Lots of culture, followed by good sun and easy living. On the 30th August the count down stops. We head out to Bangkok with a stop over in Dubai. I'll be using this blog to keep in touch, put up pictures and keep track of all the experiences...... Well that's the plan anyway. Wish us luck. I'll be in touch ...

    ... a window seat (hooray, my favourite) and had great views once we had cleared the rain clouds over Malta.


    I managed to spot the mountains of Corsica then the weather really cleared as we crossed the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees; the good views continued and I saw the Eastenders map come to life as we flew over London. The sun was shining as we flew ...

    Matt and I had a lovely sleep in at Velvet and woke to Mordor...my little pet name for Manchester. Manchester lived up to its reputation. Even the owner of the hotel said to us..."it hasn't stopped raining here since, oh around 1973!" So it was very grey, rainy and dull, but not too cold.     This is it, our last day in Ireland! We had a later start to the day today, due to our early afternoon flight. For many of us, it was a chance to catch up on sleep.
