... station, as it was raining quite heavily, and I had a great chat with the driver, who had actually lived in Australia for about five years at the end of the Sixties, before his Mum decided that she preferred to be back in England. He asked me where I was from and, when I said Australia, he replied, "I thought I heard a bit of an Aussie twang there, but your accent isn't as strong as other Aussies that I've heard." ... While getting ready we met one of our 13 roommates an openly and hilarious gay guy also from Australia called Clay. A lot of fellow travellers we meet are actually from Australia. Keen to also get out of the hostel, we had some drinks in the common room before Clay took us to a club he had been before. ... were nearly in South Manchester. After being quizzed in the entry hall about what we liked most about Harry Potter, we realised that none of us have read a word of a HP book or seen any of a movie. Oh well, not to worry. After hearing Daniel Radcliffe talking about the filming and how they lived at the studios for 10 years Sal then piped up with - "didn't they film all these in New Zealand?"
