I still haven't worked out what the beer swilling man with the pigs backside ( description from wikipedia) was doing on the choirstall, but it will have to remain one of life's little mysteries.

... the Orrest Head lookout, visited Beatrix Potter's house, got rained on and went to a classic old cinema. But the highlight was definitely going the Lakeland flagship store where we stocked up on baking equipment for home! For two nights we stayed in a B&B above a small town pub. We spent a couple of days with Margaret, Mick, Elizabeth and Holly (Robert's sister, brother-in-law, daughter and grand-daughter) in a cottage in a small village called LllanfairTalhaiarn, 5 miles south of Abergele. It’s on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park which is very picturesque and, as we had good weather, we saw it at its best.

We found a book about the teachings of Buddha in our manchester hotel room. This occupied most of our evening. This morning we went to McDonalds to book our bnb for Barcelona. We had a seriously *************necting to the wifi there and a lady who worked their spent her time trying to help us connect. When we eventually gave up frustrated, we insisted it was ok. It was not ok... She replied with, "no it's not ok... I'll get a manager". Her dedication to helping us, was a really special ...
