    I had never heard of Chester until someone said it would be worth spending a day there. As it turned out, on the day I visited Chester a couple of thousand other tourists had the same idea, and probably all took photos of the same sights that I did ( but I bet I was the only one who got a shot of the beer swilling man with a pig's backside ).
    Chester has at least three things that distinguish it from most other towns or cities in England.

    We found a book about the teachings of Buddha in our manchester hotel room. This occupied most of our evening. This morning we went to McDonalds to book our bnb for Barcelona. We had a seriously *************necting to the wifi there and a lady who worked their spent her time trying to help us connect. When we eventually gave up frustrated, we insisted it was ok.     ... the bike bus for our return trip home, it felt a much better/easier bike to ride than mine. So am now riding Roger's bike at the moment, which is the next frame size up to mine. Problem is that the seat post has welded itself into the frame, and no amount of muscle and tools have been able to move it.
