    On our last day of teaching, on New years day, we got to visit the world famous Lalbagh park, known for its landscape. I had no idea what to expect, and this place was enormous. Apparently it's known to be one of the top sites for horticultural studies, and after visiting there I saw why. Even with the massive crowds, it was such an expected site to see in India. For some reason, I never associated parks/greenery with India until this trip.

    ... santro. This was all done in heavy rains. Well u get to "the resort" u love the location but then they show u the room... it smells of mold (fungus to be more graphic) n the sheets r not bright white n the pillows smell of mold u can barely sleep on it.... Then the buffet i think i wud serve a more elaborate n more taste buffet at home.... but u still think its k.... u manage to sleep thru the nite plotin how to get out of here n get ur balance money ...

    With the haze in the air, the ceremony kept going. We touched a sari, somebody washed somebody else's feet and finally it was time for Deepa and Rajah to be officially married.
