    ... were left to wander the city on our own. We stopped at a few gift shops, enjoyed some ice cream and then visited the famous bridge.

    Tonight for dinner, we formally introduced ourselves to one another in our tour group and enjoyed a traditional German meal consisting of soup, turkey nuggets and fries. After a long two days of traveling, we are settling in for a good night's rest!

    ... We then helped an elderly Chinese man with the ticket machine after that so we're definitely learning!!! Haha.. Our hotel is 2mins walk from the train station- the train station is AMAZING!     ... old rebuilt part of Frankfurt. The city was pretty much obliterated during the Second World War and to find any old remnants of what it might have been like was definitely a surprise! Steffie told me that the square is also where they had the 2006 World Cup reception, which would have been packed!
