On our way back to the ship, we passed a bakery. I have been craving galataburiko (PLEASE forgive my brutalization of the Greek language) – for years. Loved my mother-in laws, and CRAVE cousin Irene’s. We shall see if this measures up to Irene’s!! The harbour has quite a lot of swell and we were bouncing around badly snapping on our anchor on one end of the cycle and then the mooring lines on the other end of the cycle. The hospital itself was far from 20th century for example no soap in toilets. Very few supplies, needles and blood on the floor. However return we did for x-Rays the following morning.
