    ... sure if it was the boat. I think it was because I hadn't eaten/drunk anything as we had a Nutella croissant and felt better. The ferry took off at 12:30 and we arrived after about 30 mins. The crew said iOS couple of times but we assumed most people on the boat would get off so we waited and almost missed the stop.     ... photo sessions we found a roof top restaurant and dug into some top notch greek food followed by healthy portions of ouzo of course.     ... at a roof top café that overlooked the non caldera side of the island (so no steep cliffs, but a nice view of some vineyards and possibly a beach. Fearing I would turn into a Greek Salad, I opted for some tomato fritters and some dip with bread. Mum again had a seafood platter.

    ... heading back to Fira. We round the volcano island and pass the cruise ships and are back in port where we all, everyone on board, heads for the cable car to go back up to Fira.


    Once back in Fira, we try in vain to find the jeweler where we had bought a necklace and bracelet for me earlier in the week but either we were completely lost or he moved shop in just two days. We couldn't find him but had plenty of other jewelers ...

    ... gorgeous the water is. All of the homes are white or very light color and seem to be built right on the edge of the cliffs. Our tour guide was a German named Gert and he now lives on the island moving there from Germany. Funny to have a guide with a German accent speaking English on the Greek isles.

    One thing I found interesting is that Santorini gets very little rain & each morning is covered with a fog type ...
