    ... selling all kinds of kitsch. However, considering it was March, there really weren't many tourists in the town. Do you think we stood out? With our blond hair (okay, that might be pushing it for me) and blue eyes, we stood out everywhere we went in Romania.     ... sold soup. I really fancied a nice hot bowl of soup and a coffee after being out in the cold for a few hours. I found a couple of restaurants but walked out pretty much as soon as I walked in because of the cigarette smoke. In Romania it's still legal which is annoying for non-smokers. I eventually found a small cafe which was quiet enough that no body was around me smoking. The soup itself was amazing. It really done the trick. After my soup I went to try and go to ...

    ... trip with 4 days in the city then our flight back to Chicago! Cross your fingers for our luggage—our flight juju hasn't been the best so far on this trip.

    ... was no room for their 4-legged children. All they could do was set them free on the street. So dog beget dog beget dog and voila, we have an issue.

    ... streets are medieval. Once, a long time ago, Transylvania belonged to Germany, or whatever was Germany at the time. The streets look somewhat Bavarian, though different. Not quite as clean.
