The museum itself is one of the royal palaces, although I don't know if it's used very often/at all anymore. It's built in the western style, so it would look just as natural in Prague or Paris. MBK is pretty much a maze of stalls with a floor plan that remains a mystery. Personally, I reckon it kept moving around like the Great Staircase in Harry Potter. After waiting for ages for them to unlock my phone (forgot that would need doing), sorting out my sim card and just generally trying to find the way out - we escaped and caught the Airport Link back to our hotel.

Oh Bangkok where do I start? Walking out of the airport and into the craziness of Bangkok, I don't know what I expected but it wasn't that.
