... feat when you are 5’ 1 !! All the rain gets me cause the umbrella is held at such great heights J Luckily it was only a 5 minute walk so no damage done. Regaleira is one of Portugal’s most elaborate estates and as of 1995 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The home itself is beautiful with many carved wooden ceilings (we haven’t seen such amazing wood details to this extent in the castles we have seen on this trip) ...

The next attraction was the Moorish Castle. The original castle was built by the Moors and taken by the Christians in 1147.
