... the names of all the missing people (I think only adults, I couldn't find children) by area of last known residence are written on the walls. Upstairs are drawings made by the children before they went missing. I didn't think I would be as touched as I was, but so many scared people, so many lives. We also walked around the cemetery which is piled 12 high. It was the only place Jews in Prague were allowed to bury their dead, so they were buried one on top ...

... slept quite long, went to have fish and chips in the afternoon and then wandered around in the rain. The rain part made us sit in McDo or Starbucks more than see the city. But we went to the place were a year ago was a "before I die" wall. It was a nice walk, a lot of memories from last year. When I was sure we were, where the wall should be I could not find it. Until we noticed that it was gone. You could still see traces but it was gone......

... us because it is so much easier, don't have to worry about being quiet and waking up other people. By the one we got organized we did not want to go out, just get some water and go to bed. The currency in Czech is very different, for every 1 euro you get about 24 crowns. So 500 crowns is only 20 euros, we had a difficult time figuring out about what we were spending and what the conversion was. We slept in until 9am. Janet is sleeping later than she has ever in her life, until 8am or later. We had breakfast and had a lazy morning. Janet and Lachlan went out for a walk, and came ack to the apartment at 12.45. We all walked to the Old Town Square to watch the astronomical clock. The crowds are enormous.
