Perfect location, rooms were spacious, and everyone that worked there was very nice. Right across from the castle and the metro.......perfect!

... felt like staying out in the heat for much longer, so we all went back to our hostel for a swim and sauna (no idea why we ended up going in the sauna when the whole idea was to get cool!).
For dinner that night we ended up in a little pub where the waitresses didn’t speak much English, and with our lack of Czech skills, ordering food and drinks was a bit of a challenge. We got there in the end though!

Friday 2 May 2014 So I caught my mitfahrtgahliegenheit and arrived in Berlin in the evening. The people on my ride didn't really speak English/didn't want to speak English, so I had a pretty quiet ride, listening to Hamish and Andy podcasts and napping. I then met my couchsurfing host Fanni, a nice girl with a big smile and a quirky accent. She's vegetarian, trying to be vegan and owns a cat. It is rare that someone likes everything in an exhibition, but I LOVED all of his work and ideals. His art is so beautiful and meaningful. We watched the clock tower strike 11am which was apparently a highlight to see here but nothing too special and hard to see with so many people and a pick pockets fantasy. After the first two days and a half I started to feel there was nothing left for me in Prague. I knew there was an alternative Punk venue but couldn't find it, and any alternative life the city might have was completely out of my reach, so I kinda got bored of seeing beautiful buildings and monuments.
