Moms birthday was yesterday! It was also Halloween, but I'm not sure the people of Düsseldorf were aware. Yesterday we arrived early in the morning after an overnight bus ride on a two deck bus. We searched for breakfast without any luck but we passed a small park and found our hostel easily. We got to their place and caught up as started she dinner for the kids. Carlos soon got home from work and we ...

... with a tour and the tour was only in German. We thought we would pass and just enjoy the parkland/gardens attached to the palace.

We walked down in a sunny and bright start. Walked all the way down the pond with ducks and swans. Most of the park was under construction but it was large enough. We sat and relaxed. I napped as my head was starting to explode with a large migraine. It was nice.

    After about 30-40 ...

... and caught up on my plans before we left for dinner. Initial plan was to go to Vennen this evening but in Liedberg was a film crew setting up their rigs around the Sandbauernhof. Vennen was closed so we went over to Korschenbroich and each of us had a very large amount of food at the Anker.

Back at home we continued story telling and called it a late night at 3 am (if there is a saying like ...
