... since the apartment is at only a few minutes walk from two train stations on a very practical line towards different areas of the city. And towards those stations many shops can be found, offering all kinds of goods and food.

As I said, the apartment would have to be a compromise. Having seen the other options, the more I think about it the more I get convinced that this was right choice. So, new home in the pocket, one step closer to the start.

Moms birthday was yesterday! It was also Halloween, but I'm not sure the people of Düsseldorf were aware. Yesterday we arrived early in the morning after an overnight bus ride on a two deck bus. We searched for breakfast without any luck but we passed a small park and found our hostel easily. Willkommen from Deutschland! After a long series of flights, basic required tasks and getting my bearings I finally found myself on a train hugging the Rhine river heading north to Dusseldorf.
