    ... wearing about 20 hats on his head, coconuts, mens shoes. They were no where near as persistent as I remember from Bali back in the 80's though. Hell of a way to make a living, I didn't see any of them make a sale. We had lunch at a lovely little restaurant with a fabulous view of the beach, how could it not be? It was probably only 10 metres from the water!!! From lunch we drove on to explore a little more - headed up ...

    ... great seafood restaurant today - then to a lovely little beach for some relaxing and sun. I love that we have (so far) done three completely different things on this holiday. Lake Como was gorgeous - all beautiful BIG mountains, lakes, ferries and little villages, Tuscany, well, Tuscan, great food, picture postcard views, great wine, history..., and now Sardinia, different again, rugged mountains, beautiful azure blue ...

    ... has a gorgeous spanish hacienda feel to it, or maybe Mexican? It has a great pool area and we spent a bit of time there in the afternoon just soaking up the sun and the ambience and the wedding guests. Later, hungry, no hotel restaurant last night, we took our selves out to the Porto Rotondo. Some bloody big, spoiled blokes boats there, complete with staff. Found a nice little bar to have a few beers and then walked to a pretty good sea food ...

    ... son swims 5kms a day at the beach. Other guest know adelaide from the grand prix. Lol.
    Back to our tabel out the front of the hotel for nightcaps.

    ... ground floor level, stone floor with dome ceiling etc.
    Around this 3 level dome tower was a spiral staircase with an outer wall forming a dome over the whole structure. Google it. Just mind boggling. You think of bronze age as a bit dumb - not so. They were also seafarers. Travelling to Greece, Italy and Spain.
