We took the 12 hour bus ride from goreme to fethiye, a coastal town in turkey's south west. If this helps, istanbul is in the north west of the country and goreme is about smack center. The bus ride was painful, but at least the company was good. ... has some interesting footage... Day 10 Consisted of a an 11 hour marathon back to Istanbul where we checked into our last hotel. The trip was good but didn't really meet my expectations. Didn't help that we both got sick a lot of the time but also I think being on such an intense schedule really takes it out of you. I must say that I wouldn't have learnt as much had we done it alone.
