... he had a thick coat and looked very healthy. So exciting! Now I've seen all my favorites (wolf, sheep, goats, elk, black bear, coyote, deer) except caribou (not likely now), and grizzly bear.

After leaving Yellowstone via the South Entrance, we proceeded south into Grand Teton National Park and headed for Colter Bay where Ruth had found lodging for us. After two days in Yellowstone with a lot of walking and a fair amount of climbing, we were planning to just "veg" for the afternoon at our cabin.
