        ... home the rain, which has continued with gusto all evening. April 14: Today we did Hot Springs. After the B&B breakfast, we hopped on our bikes for an 17 mile ride. The first and last 4 miles was on a Rail to Trails greenway South along the Hot Springs Creek. The rest of the trail is still under construction.         Our drive was uneventful, except for some traffic jam-ups near Boise. The scenery is very dry, brown scrub and low mountains. Very different from western Washington and a lot like California.
