      Extremely scenic country side rolling hills, the river running along side the road, log cabin houses scattering amongst the hillsides, with huge spruce and pine trees, and snow caped mountains in the distance.

      ... the coop….

      We were offered a trip to Inspiration Point. This is a point high in the mountains on the East side of Salt Lake but we were forced to cancel this trip because of the snow about a week ago… most of the snow is gone and if we can make connections with our guide, Mike and his wife Margaret we’ll make this trip before we head out of town…

      In some ways I’m pleased with my results ...

      ... divide on I70. Experienced hot, cold, rain, then more hot cold rain! But we actually avoided most of the heavy showers - got lucky. I70 has to be the most scenic interstate in the US! Was a nice ride, just lots of traffic til past Vail. Glenwood Springs canyon area is very scenic too. Arrived in Grand Junction @ 5. (250 mi). Stayed at another no-tel motel, but actually very nice.
