... to do with myself. So.... um, what next? I haven't worked that out. Need a coffee first, a red wine second, then a good nights sleep.

Ok, it didn't take long to work out what to do immediately next - like now! - the coffee was enough - get back in the plane and go for a flight! There is a VFR route along the Hudson, maximum altitude is 1300', and there is a very regimented procedure for ...

... a que that promised to be even better than the impressive one on Christmas Day. Bus ride down town, a gentle amble across the very beautiful Brooklyn Bridge and under the bridge for very delicious ice cream-because we weren't cold enough. Wandered back across to Manhattan and spent a moment at the 9/11 monument. Extraordinary. The memorial is ...

... into the corners me and Davina could talk to each other like we were on the phone - bizarre! We picked up some nice bread and an authentic slice of NY cheesecake, and made our way down fifth avenue to check out the shops, the famous Apple Store that looks like a glass box, and Bloomingdales. We thought Bloomingdales was a nicer dept store than Macy's, and the Apple Store was cool! Very busy and we tried out the glass elevator in the store. Our next stop was the ...
