On our last day in Florianopolis we set out to visit Ilha de Campeche, which is an island about an hour away from Barra de Lagoa. It is now an ecological reserve. No one lives on the island and only 800 people max are allowed to visit per day. It was a beautiful spot with squeaky white sand beaches (yes the sand squeaked!) ...
The city center is very primitive as well.
It looks like the main attraction here are the ocean beaches.
- Finally we found today a very colorful neighborhood (Ribeirao da Ilha) , and a very delicious restaurant there (Ostradamus) where we ate fresh oysters (see the attached photo). By the way, originally on this place was the first village on the Florianopolis (or Santa Catarina) island. Thanks for friendly Brazilian guys that recommended us this place.
