    ... the owner had gone for lunch without leaving any explanation with the doddery senhora, who suggested I wait 10 mins. Did and still no joy so abandoned hope & explored other options – many full and all hideously overpriced!

    After 2 fruitless hours searching settled on the less than impressive first place up a spiral staircase with no outside space – the beach better be ...

    ... drivers kids! Dinner, at the Kebab House, was by far the best food we have had since sushi at Iguasu and probably some of the best spiced meat we've had on our whole trip. After dinner, we wandered down to the restaurants along the beach and had a banana and chocolate dessert crepe. Phew...what a busy day! I'm tired just recapping the whole day. After being awake for 20 hours, we are finally going to sleep. No plans for tomorrow...it's supposed to rain ...

    ... s as to the option we would do as we only have 2 nights here. We were taken on an orientation tour of the very small village here and had a nice lunch. They have these restaurants in Brazil where the food is presented buffet style and you pay for the meal by weight. This doesn’t necessarily make it that cheap but these places usually have a good variety especially with veggies and salad. After lunch we continued ...

    My last five nights and I am in paradise... the most beautiful beaches, forest walks, monkeys, birds, waterfalls, swimming, paddle boarding, reading, reflecting, and just being happy with life :). Oh and no traffic... you get around by walking, bike or boat. I only took one photo... with me deciding to keep this paradise as a memory and also because I felt done with my camera! My photo blog is now over and the real world awaits... until I do it all again soon... Big love to South America ...
