... started coming in however it seemed there was a storm brewing! Not long after we got back to our Pousada (guest house) the power on the whole island went out! We changed and headed back out to find some dinner (torch in hand), we found a restaurant on the beach just as the heavens opened, met another couple from London and literally sat out the storm with Caipirinha's, good food and conversation!

Started my day off at Cafe de Mar with an espresso & orange juice. Really gonna miss this little caff & the French managers fine reggae selection. Took a dip & headed to get supplies for our trek to Dos Rios - a nearby beach which many boasted of. Left around 12pm for our bush walk, started off extremely steep but broadened out into a dirt road eventually. It was a very relaxing setting with good banter from Mikey & ...

... park but it was so hot going up and down hills I was glad when we got there. Wow! What a beach! Unfortunately and of course there were other people there which spoilt it a little but the place was breath taking. We sat in the shade to escape the midday heat, had a read, a swim and a people watch and then decided to take an early walk back to the lovely little cove where the boat had dropped us off which was pretty ...
