    Went up to the horta, and Tai Chi was cancelled so kept walking around thru the Praça down the Rua Direita, Rua São José, Igreja Rosário then up Rua Alvarenga.

    The light was good, thru the fog and clouds.

    What a beautiful town (if a bit chilly at night!!!). The meaning of 'Black Gold' comes from the fact this is a very important mining area and the gold was often found in the black iron ore - at one stage it was more gold than black, but these days it's more black than gold!

We headed out to a lovely cute restaurant for dinner then had an early night so Ash could recover for the football the next day!
