    ... and views are stunning from my hammock strung front balcony – have one at the back too! Headed straight to the super as will need to save money on eating and drinking to compensate.

    Some drumming practice was occurring nearby, but otherwise it’s mainly the birds as the hostel is next to a steep undeveloped, except for old gold mines, valley – not sure why it is “black gold”, but I’m sure I’ll find ...

    ... into the new thngamajig.We needed a place for files and books and our math teaching materials...

    The city is alive with all sorts of art and music and presentations... a nice display of whirligigs on the Praça Tiradentes and the city is full of people from all over. And with the fog moving in and out its really quite lovely.

    Life is good.
