Got the bus to Armação dos Buzios to meet Hannah and Gabriel who are on holiday there with Hannah's family. Brazil is bloody expensive, more than London! Unfortunately we have realised our 'Brazil' book is from 2006, so all we read about the bargain prices is actually totally out of date and to buy the most basic meal like cheese sandwich is about £7! ... drop (the "Antartica Penguin" brand for all of those who want to really know a bad beer from Brazil) and took it back to the place only to realise it was the worse tasting beer we had EVER tried. ... we departing the next day we all went to a soccer game at the Maracana stadium(biggest soccer stadium in the world). And that was probably the biggest highlight of the trip so far! It was so cool. 65,000 crazy Brazilian soccer fans and the place wasn´t even 1/2 full. The home team was Botafogo. They tied. But we´ve never seen a crowd that intense before.
