    Well at least before travel days! But more on that later. It would be interesting to see what Rio looks like when it's not Carnaval, to see whether people still wander the streets dressed in costumes, whether you need to walk more than 5m before you find another person selling beer from a chilly bin on a cart or a stall selling caipirinhas, or what the streets look like (and smell like) without trash piled high in the gutters and on the sidewalks.     ... about Xmas decorations... I am nto sure why there is so little effort, unless the prefietura pays for it... a few windows, a few lights.. .but generally the decorations remian behind walls and away from public view. But none the less out in the "suburbs" I noticed a few efforts... enjoy!

    Its good (tho very moist) here.
