I went with Stee and my grandmother to Lugo, a town about 50 miles from A Corun&#771;a. The old town of Lugo is surrounded by a Roman wall. Within the walled part of the town are narrow streets and old buildings. <br><br>In the late afternoon we returned to A Corun&#771;a and departed for Vigo early in the evening.

10th August 2008 A shady little site in Sarria Yesterday was the longest day so far. We started in San Fiz (just outside Villafranca) and we ended up in Samos, some 60 odd kms away having gone over several passes. O Cebreiro is the main pass at 1099 mts, and that is where the main refugio is. However a bit further down the road is the Pto El Poyo which is 1337 mts.
