There wasn't really anyone to chat to and it was a pretty quiet hostel. So about 11 I had a shower and went to bed. The next morning I got up about 9 and had a good free breakfast. The breakfast in Brazil is really good. They love a toasty machine so I always have a cheese toasty and some fruit ...

The people I was sitting with were telling me a lot about the beach, and ...

... night is still young, and I'm hungry for more. Went back to the hostel and drank vodka with the Australians. (Did I mention it was 2 a litre here?) After getting massively inebriated we headed out in a taxi looking for the party. After stopping at several clubs all of which were nearly empty, we found Bomberos. So this is where the teenagers went! The place is packed with three or four hundred sweaty young bodies, (it's 25 degrees at night), and there's a band at the ...

... and Rees showed us some dancing skills later when the restaurant turned into a late night bar. I acquired a Brazilian "pint" hat and well the party just continued from there. It was then time to head back on the ferry to Porto seguro and take another overnight bus up to Salvador where our first live game awaited us.
