    Odd seas but perfect anchorages

... running down to the water around us, with 2-Blue just behind us.

Here, the water is warm, although not very clear, and wonderful to swim in. As there are so few other boats around it feels positively secluded, despite the size of the bay - overall a lovely place to spend a few nights. We're intending to be in Bayona (not exactly far away) for the first of August, but until then we'll just sit at anchor and enjoy the sun!

From the camping there is a bus that goes to Pontevedra, so we'll take that tomorrow morning. We got organized and after a good big shower walked 10 min to the little village, beach and boulevard with lots if café's and terraces. Well, one anchorage was too small to comfortable house more than one boat, and there was already a boat there when we arrived, and the other was full of steel mooring buoys, leaving no real room to anchor unless you didn't mind the side of your boat clanging into a lump of metal in the night.

Funnily enough, as we approached a ...

... and if it hadn't been for the fact that we were waiting for a package to arrive for us in the marina here in Vilagarcia we might well not have left.

However we've also had a wander around Vilagarcia today, which isn't stupefyingly lovely but is perfectly pleasant, and has some strikingly attractive bits in its parks. We'll probably hang around this ria for a few more days then head south to the next one, Ria de Pontevedra, for more lazing around in the sun.

... style dresser of gleaming dark wood and a huge bed fitted with crisp white cotton sheets. The friendly lady who made up the room wore a starched uniform and the waiters in the exceptionally good restaurant attached to the hotel wore waistcoats and bow ties as they glided around the tables. It felt very refined and old fashioned and the staff couldn't do enough to help with anything at all. Almost didn't want to leave the hotel haha. However, ...
