This beach is also called 'drowning' beach because of the strong riptides. They even have volunteer lifeguards for the surfers and swimmers. ... our red, white, and blue and headed to the bar! When we ended up losing 2-1 it still meant we were going through so we ventured out to the boardwalk to celebrate. Locals would scream "USA!" And we would scream, "We're #2!" And they would laugh and continue to cheer us on. We celebrated for a while and decided to call it a night. One night coming back from our new hangout we cut across the main drag and decided to check out this funky make shift food stand that sat between the main ...

... another failed attempt to get something completed before the World Cup). Mikey, Timi, Robert and Sarah had seats elsewhere, so we had a station to meet at after every game. When we got to the sandwich shop, the crew had set up the VIP section for us. A closed off space with air conditioning. We enjoyed our last supper and then headed back to the house for one final swim party before everyone left the next morning. The next day, we were down to 3 ...
