      Buzios is windy and hot with clear skies. It feels like the med and with 2 out of 3 restaurants being Italian it feels even more like we are in Europe. There are a dozen or so beaches and most can be walked too. The first beach we visited Praia do Canto was a bit of a flop as it is completely exposed so the lunch we took down got covered in sand as did we. We also saw a woman of at least a 150kg lying on her stomach in a G string.....not something you can ...

      ... weather today is amazing.

      We sign up for the trip which leaves in about an hour, and town is 3 minutes from where we are so we have a bit of time to kill. We walk around a bit then head over to the docks. A massive line of others fall prey to sirens luring us to sea with the sweet call of free caipirinhas. We get in line and recount last night's amazing Thai food.

      ... go figure, and I notice that about half of the girls that walk by the window look hot, which is quite a high %. But then I have a breakthrough. I realize the ones that look hot are the ones walking away from me that I can only see from behind. All the ones walking towards me are struggling. Chicks here have much nicer bodies than faces here, especially since their asses are so nice. I don't think this is true in Chicago. ...

      ... to pay - I saw The Illusionist in French with Portuguese subtitles). The Manuas airport was surprisingly small (just like the bus station - guessing its because of all the boat traffic) and had enormous lines. Left late and would have missed the connection to Rio, but they held the plane because there were like 20 of us coming from Manaus. Got into the hostel in Copacabana pretty late. Rio is amazing.
